Talks heated up over the weekend between Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir about the Indonesian businessman purchasing a majority ownership of Inter Milan. As it stands, the negotiations are inconclusive with the latest reports being Thohir taking a minority ownership. Transfer Rumour of the Day: Forza Italian Football are reporting that Napoli and Fiorentina are in for Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez, who is frustrated at being the backup striker for the German power and is looking for a move. The idea of Gomez moving isn’t crazy, but from going from the world’s best team to possibly a team in the Europa League may be a drop too far.
